The easiest way of travelling to Skyros is by the ferry boat. The port of Linaria has arrivals and departures on a daily basis.

The ferry boat “Achilleas” is a modern and comfortable boat, capable of holding a large number of passengers and vehicles and in 1 hour and 40 min. makes you trip enjoyable.
If you are planning to visit Skyros with your car, then this will be the only option you can take and during the summer months you should make an early reservation at www.sne.gr.
Alternatively, you can travel on the ferry boat as a foot passenger, and rent a car during your stay or upon arrival at the port.
On a daily basis, you can reach Kymi port of Evia by KTEL National Bus requesting bus for Skyros.
You can get to Kymi in Evia from the port of Oropos – Eretria, or either by via the capital town of Chalkida.
